13 October 2014 Orchard Rise sells out in two hours

It took just two hours on Saturday for all 27 land lots in the first release of Defence Housing Australia’s (DHA) Orchard Rise to sell out.

This was the first release for the new Kellyville development, which is set within an intimate community environment in the sought-after Hills District. It appealed to a broad range of buyers, including new entrants to the property market, families and investors.

‘Pent up buyer demand for the land lots was realised over the weekend,’ DHA Managing Director Peter Howman said. ‘Land lots like these are rare in the hustle and bustle of Sydney, and this just shows that buyers want the lifestyle that Orchard Rise and DHA have to offer.’

Land lots ranged in size from 487sqm to 677sqm, with $645,000 the top selling price on the day.

Starr Partners Kellyville Managing Director, Michael Doran was delighted with the success of the sales launch. ‘We had 114 registered buyers, and everyone present on Saturday had the opportunity to purchase on the day,’ Michael said.

‘The sales process was smooth and efficient with lots of positive feedback from buyers. Our estimated crowd number is 100 in total present on the day.’

The new community is perfectly positioned on Withers Road, situated just minutes from Rouse Hill Town Centre and proposed Railway Station, Norwest Business Park and the M7 Motorway.
