19 April 2016 Crimson Hill apartments sell out

Despite talk of a slowing residential market, buyers have embraced Defence Housing Australia’s Crimson Hill project in Lindfield, with all apartments now sold out.

All 50 apartments in the Dunstan Grove and Tubbs View precincts of the Crimson Hill masterplanned estate sold quickly, having only been released to the market in November 2015.

Purchasers were a mix of first home buyers, investors, downsizers, young families and even residents who had been renting in Dunstan Grove but wanted an apartment of their own.

Defence Housing Australia (DHA) Acting Managing Director Jan Mason says DHA is very pleased at the proven popularity of Crimson Hill.

‘Achieving a sell-out of these apartments in Dunstan Grove and Tubbs View, in such a short period of time, is a reflection of the quality on offer at Crimson Hill,’ she says.

‘As the development has matured and progressed, and the community has grown, we have seen a lot of word-of-mouth referrals which is satisfying as Crimson Hill was DHA’s first apartment project and we’ve clearly offered what the market wants.’

Crimson Hill is spread over six precincts and contains the already completed Hamilton Corner, Dunstan Grove, Tubbs View, Blair Wark Community Centre and Charles Bean Soccer field. Construction of the Shout Ridge precinct, which sold out off the plan, is expected to be finished this year.
