Entries are now open for Your Investment Property’s Investor of the Year Awards.
DHA is proudly the 2018 awards partner for Your Investment Property’s Investor of the Year Awards. Each year the search looks to uncover the sharpest and most inspirational property investors from across the country.
This year there are five judges; all experts in different areas of the property world including research and data analysis, construction and investment.
DHA’s General Manager Portfolio Management and awards judge, Suzanne Pitson said that the awards serve to recognise all investors, not just those with a large portfolio of properties.
‘At DHA we see all types of investors show interest in our properties,’ Ms Pitson said. ‘There are seasoned investors of course, but there are also many people who are just starting out in their property investment journey. That’s one of the great things about these awards - they recognise people at all stages of the investment lifestyle.’
There are three categories: New Investor, Strategic Investor and Reno Investor. The new investor category is for those who are relatively new to investing in real estate, and who have been actively investing for less than five years. The strategic investor category is open to those who have been building a portfolio over a longer period of at least five years. Finally, the renovation category is there for those who have built their property wealth through manufacturing growth via renovation projects, which add value and boost rental returns.
