Defence Housing Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Jaggers PSM as Defence Housing Australia’s new Managing Director.

Mr Jaggers has an impressive track record across the Australian Public Service and a wealth of experience in government, stakeholder management, people, communications, finance and corporate services.

Mr Jaggers is currently the Deputy Secretary, Business Enabling Services with the Department of Finance, was previously Deputy Secretary, Commercial Group for six years, has successfully implemented major property projects and played an important role in the Australian Government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mr Jaggers' leadership and strategic expertise will be invaluable as Defence Housing Australia continue to strive for excellence and innovation in our customer services.

The Board would like to thank Mr Brett Jorgensen for his leadership of Defence Housing Australia as the Acting Managing Director for the past six months.

Mr Jaggers will commence in the role on 4 February 2025.
