by Defence Housing Australia | Nov 26, 2024

Defence Housing Australia (DHA) confirms that all relevant conditions precedent under Development Permit DP18/0409 have been met in respect of its development at Lee Point in the Northern Territory.

The Northern Territory Government’s Development Consent Authority (DCA) investigated two complaints lodged with the DCA which alleged that DHA had breached permit conditions at its 2 Control and Reporting Unit, or 2CRU, Lee Point housing development.

Following its investigations, the DCA decided to take no further action in response to the complaints.

DHA continues to work with the Federal Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water and the NT Government regarding Lee Point.

Lee Point is a significant project for the Australian Defence Force, Defence families and the broader Darwin community. DHA remains dedicated to delivering this project and the significant benefits it will bring to Darwin.
