Getting there

RAAF Base East Sale is one of the main training establishments of the Royal Australian Air Force.  The main entrance open 24 hours/day is located on Aerodrome Road, East Sale.

Key collection and returns

After hours
All keys may be collected from the key safe located externally on the East side of building A0001 (ACP).

Lost keys
Lost keys must be notified to the Accommodation office immediately.
A cost will be incurred for replacement.

March Out inspections
March Out inspections must be booked at least 24 hours prior to departure with the Accommodation Office.

Room/cabin information

Rooms are provisioned for stays up to 21 days with soap, toilet paper and towel (replenished and room cleaned every seven days). You will need to bring your own toiletries, towel and clean your own room for longer stays (excluding Duty officer, Recruit or Cadet Accommodation).  For further information about your room, contact the base Accommodation Office.  It is essential that you are aware of your LIA obligations in accordance with PACMAN, Annex 7.3.A: Licence to Live In.

Non-duty bookings

East Sale does not accept non-duty bookings.

In extreme circumstances, the BM may approve non-duty bookings. These requests are to be made in writing only and sent to segservicedeliverysezbasemgt.esl@defence.gov.au for consideration. In these instances, bookings will attract a charge in accordance with Defence policy (FINMAN). Cost recovery will be initiated after key collection by the on-base Accommodation Office. Queries should be directed to the Accommodation Office.
